ATHENS, W.Va. – Visiting Concord University is just a click away!
Concord’s virtual campus tour offers prospective students, parents, and educators a 360 degree look at the University’s buildings, grounds and additional features.
“The virtual tour gives students a quick way to get a feel for campus.”
William Allen, Vice President of Enrollment Management
While the Office of Admissions offers in-person tours to students considering Concord and encourages them to visit if possible prior to making a commitment, Allen says the engaging online visit helps them see if Concord would be a “good fit” for them.
Clickable features encourage tour participants to explore the campus and learn interesting facts about the University. Visitors have the option to submit a request to learn more, schedule a visit or apply online.
This interactive snapshot is especially helpful when physically visiting campus is inconvenient due to distance or other factors. Director of Admissions Tricia Radford says sharing the link for the online tour with “international students or those far away who can’t easily get to campus, our out-of-state students” is a plus when working with students in the college search.
The tour, which launched earlier this year, has also been useful during the pandemic as an alternative to in-person campus visits. Funded by the West Virginia GEAR UP program, the virtual tour is produced by YouVisit.
