
ATHENS, W.Va. – The Southern West Virginia Community Book Club will hold its first meeting of the year on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020 from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Concord University President’s House. The club’s discussion will focus on Richard Russo’s novel, Chances Are.
Dr. Anthony Patricia, assistant professor of English, launched the book club this past fall as a way to bring together reading enthusiasts from the campus and community. The group is open to Concord students, faculty, and staff as well as the general public. There is no cost to attend the meetings.
