ATHENS, W.Va. – William Gale, Ph.D., a nationally recognized expert on fiscal policy, will participate in a videoconference with students at Concord University on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019. The hour-long presentation will begin at 2 p.m. (EST) in the Pais Fellowship Hall in University Point.

Dr. Gale, who is Co-Director of the Tax Policy Center and the Arjay and Frances Miller Chair in Federal Economic Policy at the Brookings Institution, will discuss his book, “Fiscal Therapy: Curing America’s Debt Addiction and Investing in the Future” with the Political Science 205, Community Based Research class.

“Our students are very fortunate to be able to speak with Dr. Gale about the fiscal challenges America will face during their lifetimes. Our graduates will start their professional lives saddled with personal and public debt along with clear impending needs for increased investment in both health care and education. Dr. Gale will discuss how we can meet these daunting challenges.”
