Media Advisory: Concord to Host Workshop, “Tools for Interacting with Customers with Disabilities”


Athens, W.Va. – Concord University will be hosting a workshop, “Tools for Interacting with Customers with Disabilities,” Thursday, January 6, in the College Center State Room from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This workshop will explore: reactions to disabilities and how they can impact behavior towards persons with disabilities, general considerations for interacting with people with disabilities, and disability related language.

The speaker is Joy Mason, workshop coordinator, and the workshop is sponsored by the Office of Disability Services at Concord University.

There is no cost for the attending the workshop, and the media is encourage to attend.
