ATHENS, W.Va. – Mr. Robert S. Yuhasz assumed the ARAMARK contract position of director, physical plant for Concord College in September 2000, according to Vice President for Business and Finance James L. Cannon. Mr. Yuhasz is replacing Bob Shultz who is moving back to the Washington, D.C., area to be with his family.
Yuhasz has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and is a Certified Facility Manager (CFM) and Certified Hospitality Administrator (CHA). He was director of facilities for the southern region for CB/Richard Ellis, an international company based in England where he was responsible for 250 banks and financial centers. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pa., he worked in the West Palm Beach area for the past 20 years, where his wife, Grace, currently lives. He also managed hotels and other resort properties.
“With this position, I had an opportunity to be closer to Pittsburgh. Also, there is a certain intrigue about being associated with a college atmosphere where I feel I am contributing to the learning experience of our youth. I think our job is very important. It also keeps you young!”
Robert S. Yuhasz
His duties and responsibilities at Concord will include maintenance and upkeep of all housing and academic facilities on the campus.
“We are looking forward to working with Bob and expect that his hotel, motel and resort management professional background will bring an interesting perspective to our campus, and we welcome his family to our area!”
James L. Cannon
