Litteral Named Financial Reporting Officer at Concord College


ATHENS, W.Va. – Mr. Samuel M. Litteral, of Chapmanville, W.Va., was named Financial Reporting Officer for Concord College according to the College’s Vice President for Business and Finance James L. Cannon.

Litteral received his BBA and MBA from Marshall University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has served as a Controller for First Home Health, Inc. in Chapmanville; an Accountant for Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College in Logan, W.Va., and Wolf Creek Collieries in Lovely, Ky., and most recently as an Accountant for AEI Resources, Inc. in Ashland, Ky. In those positions he was responsible for successfully implementing conversion of purchasing, inventory and accounts payable systems from mainframe to PC-based systems and managing a first-time three-year audit. He has also completed (TQM) Total Quality Management training.

Mr. Litteral will be responsible for financial reports to the institutional governing board and the higher education policy commission.
